Full course description
Hydrofluoric acid (HF) is a versatile chemical with numerous innovative research applications; however, it is also one of the most dangerous chemicals encountered in the laboratory.
HF safety training is required for anyone working with, around, or in areas where hydrofluoric acid is used or stored, including waste materials that may contain HF.
This course provides information on the recognition and assessment of hydrofluoric acid hazards, how to mitigate HF risks, and how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to an HF emergency.
The certificate is valid for 1 year.
