Full course description
Chemical fume hoods are engineering controls installed within laboratories that serve to enclose and exhaust fumes, vapors, or smoke from chemicals used in the laboratory work areas.
This course includes:
- Standard chemical fume hood proper use and safety
- Required personal protective equipment
- An introduction to other laboratory exhaust equipment such as ductless fume hoods and snorkel ducts
